Renowned artist, Jim Perkins, will teach a 6 week course and give you everything you need to paint in oil with style and confidence. These class is available for any level of oil painting experience, from intro to advanced.

A native of Michigan, Jim Perkins is an accomplished painter that specializes in portraits, still life, landscapes and 19th century masters. He has been commissioned for large scale reproductions by John Atkinson Grimshaw, John William Waterhouse, Lord Frederic Leighton, Sir Henry Landseers & Gustav Klimt, as well as original murals around the country.

Cost $115 for members $130 non-members

Supplies for Week 1

Oil Brushes of choice- size 5 or 2, square or filbert- soft not bristle brushes.

Paints- no student grade! Burnt umber, titanium white, ultramarine blue, cadmium yellow hue, cadmium red hue, (optional veridian green and burnt sienna)

turpentine, linseed or walnut oil, mineral spirits, and a flat paint pallette.
