Studio 23 offers a wide variety of classes for children and adults throughout the year.
Our youth program is designed to teach the fundamentals of art and the techniques in all mediums to all of our students from preschool through high school. We offer classes that include drawing, charcoal, water color, acrylic, and pastels. We also offer clay classes and other three dimensional mediums. Click here to see the kids art gallery.
Adult classes include acrylic, oil painting, watercolor, ceramics, drawing, and jewerly making. Our adult clay classes are great for the novice as well as the experienced. Along with these classes, new and different classes are being offered on a regular basis. Call Studio 23/The Arts Center at (989) 894-2323 for more info or to register.

This class provides instruction for the novice as well as those experienced with clay. Students new to clay will work on projects designed to introduce construction techniques such as pinch, coil and slab. Instruction is also available to those who wish to try the potter’s wheel. Advanced students may work in their choice of direction. Various glazing techniques will be covered as well. COME WITH IDEAS!!

This class is for the painter who knows the basics of painting but wants to learn more. Self-expression, motivation and exploration in painting is stressed. Diversity of personalities, styles and techniques are what makes this painting class a must for the developing and intermediate artist.

This is an art program for pre-school children. The sproutz art academy is a place where your children can play safely and explore the world of art.

Acrylic painting for beginning and novice painters to learn about brushes, mixing paint, and painting on canvas. Supporting students to branch out on their own with art is all part of the fun during this 7 week session. Lisa and Molly create a safe & fun environment where teens can learn basic painting techniques as well as proper maintenance of art supplies.

Teen printing Class! Tracy will be teaching the students how to design a
