Join us for two opportunities to paint, draw, and create at Dahlia Hill in Midland!
Friday, August 25
9:30 – 2 p.m.
The dahlias are still growing, but there will be plenty to paint and draw as they bloom in late August! Join us for a casual day of creating at Dahlia Hill.
Friday, September 29
10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The dahlias will be in full bloom in late September! Join us at the end of the season to paint and draw the beautiful landscape of Dahlia Hill.
Plein air at Dahlia Hill are free events with no registration required. Bring your own art supplies, snacks, and drinking water. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat to protect you from the sun!

Dahlia Still-Life Open Studio Session at Studio 23

3 – 6 p.m.
Dahlia Hill Society of Midland will be bringing us dahlias fresh from the garden! Studio 23/The Arts Center invites artists to visit our studio to create wonderful pieces of art based off the still life setups in our classroom. Bring your own art supplies, snacks, and beverages.
This is a free, self-guided activity for artists who would like to practice their skills.

Dahlia Sip ‘N Swirl w/ Rochelle Dula
at Studio 23
Friday, September 1
7 – 9 p.m.
Join Studio 23 for an evening of relaxation and painting a floral sensation!
Bring a beverage of your choice, a snack, and an open mind! Instructor Rochelle will take you through a 16×20 inch painting step-by-step and help your create your own custom dahlia!
Art materials provided (canvas, paints, brushes, etc.)
The Dahlia Hill Society will be bringing dahlias from their very own garden to inspire painters!
$45 per person
Part of the proceeds goes towards the Dahlia Hill Society!
