Come discover your inner Artist. This class will be an introduction to various processes and applications of acrylic
Painting. Glazing, layering, blending, and other techniques will be discussed and taught
During the course of the class. The general subject matter will be still life’s and or
Photos for later projects. Photos should be of a still life like setting. Discussions will be
Held during the last fifteen minutes of class to see where everyone is at, what went well?
And what can be improved. Join us for a night of meeting new friends and creating your own masterpiece.

Three 8 x 10 Canvases

Two 11 x 14 Canvases

One 16 x 20 Canvas

Basic set of acrylics (Golden brand preferably)

Simple variety pack of brushes

One large palette knife (Preferably Metal)

One small palette knife (Preferably Metal)

Roll of paper towels

One old hand towel

Matte medium (Liquitex Preferably)

Optional, Retarder (Liquitex Preferably)

Sketch Pad 8 x 10

Pencils for sketching out paintings

Erasers

Congratulations to the winners of our Summer Solstice Art-a-Thon Plein Air Paint Out!
