Learn the fundamentals to creating a successful artist portfolio with artist and arts educator Nick Reszetar. This program is a part of our Summer Solstice Art-a-thon.

Life-long artist and art educator Nick Reszetar holds his Master of Fine Arts degree from Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Eastern Michigan University and an Associate Degree in photography from Washtenaw Community College.  He has lived in Michigan most of his life in Michigan, and now holds a full Professorship at the Savannah College of Art and Design, spending the school season along the gorgeous SE Atlantic Coast.  There he teaches drawing and design classes, and is the Lead Coordinator for the Gesture Jam Drawing Events at SCAD.  Back in his Michigan studio during breaks and summers, he works primarily in drawing, painting, and photography, and has experience with installation and graphic design work.  Much of his current work focuses on the figure, where he questions psychology, identity and human relationships.  Nick’s work has been in regional, national and international juried shows around the country, and has received awards and been published in various books and media outlets.

This event is free and offered as a virtual session on Zoom only. Registration is required.
