Resin Geode Workshop

More

November 16, 2019 1:00 pm

Resin can be a challenging and intimidating medium to work with – come and learn all of the basics and make a beautiful resin geode! Perfect class for complete beginners and those with intermediate experience.

The workshop will start with an introduction to resin – equipment, types or resin, safety, uses, and limitations. We’ll go over and demonstrate three different types of resin pigments, and several options for texturing. Sam will demonstrate making a resin geode from start to finish so the class can see the whole process before beginning their own pieces.

Participants will then make their own geode in any color of their choosing as we enjoy music and a glass of wine (or sparkling beverage, if you prefer). Participants are also welcome to bring their own beverages!

The resin pieces will have to cure overnight and may be picked up the next day.
