Adult Clay

There is no limit to what you can make with clay! These classes provide instruction for the novice as well as those experienced with clay. Students new to clay will work on projects designed to introduce techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab. Instruction is also available to those who wish to try the potter’s wheel. Roll up your sleeves and give it a try. Advanced students may work in their choice of direction. Various glazing techniques will be covered as well. Come with ideas and to meet new friends!

A basic to Intermediate drawing skills with knowledge of values and shading in black and white are extremely helpful skills to have before learning to draw with colored pencils. This class is not designed to teach you how to draw. We will be using your existing drawing skills and applying color to them. We will cover different papers, layering techniques, blending techniques, learning to use complimentary colors to enhance your drawings.

Drawing Basics and Beyond

This class is for anyone who wants to learn basic drawing skills or brush up on skills
they have. We will discuss drawing materials and learn basic techniques and mark
making. We will practice those techniques and discuss how we can use them to make better drawings.

Oil Painting

This is a 12-week class that runs September 17th – December 3rd
Instructor: Sean Gallagher
Cost: $200 for Members|$230 for Non-Members

Intermediate Painting centers around further developing the painting techniques taught in Intro to Painting. Students will be taught the intermediate level techniques used to create multiple painting throughout the 12-week session. Sean will offer a different lesson in the beginning of each class session but, will also give you time to work on your own projects under his help and guidance.
