Studio 23 Plein Air Showcase

January 20 – February 4, 2023

This exhibit showcases artwork created en plein air, or outdoors from observation, at Plein Air painting events hosted by Studio 23 throughout 2022. We look forward to bringing some warm weather and sunshine into the gallery during the cold weeks of winter!


Teenworks & Kids’ Kreations

February 12 – March 11, 2023

Teenworks & Kids’ Kreations celebrates the artwork created by students attending art classes throughout Bay County. This is a wonderful opportunity to see their imaginative art displayed in the Rowley Gallery at Studio 23.

Delta College Arts & Letters Student Art Exhibit

March 30 – May 6, 2023

Studio 23 welcomes Delta College’s Arts & Letters Division for an exhibition of student artwork.

The Artwork of J. P. Aleksander

May 18 – July 8, 2023

The fascinating paintings of J. P. Aleksander combine his background in science and engineering with the folklore and history of his home country of Poland.

Painters & Potters

July 20 – September 9, 2023

This annual exhibit showcases the artwork created by the talented students and instructors of Studio 23 during the 2022–2023 terms. You are invited to meet the artists and instructors, plus learn more about our education programs during the reception.

50 Artists of the Great Lakes Bay Region

September 21 – November 11, 2023

This bi-annual exhibition features the works of 50 artists selected by a jury of experts in visual art and community leaders from the region. The Great Lakes Bay Region includes the counties of Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland and Saginaw.
