"...and Other Ballads"
Solo exhibit with Bonnie Lalley, artist/illustrator
“…and Other Ballads” is a curated solo exhibit featuring Bonnie Lalley, artist/illustrator. Bonnie Lalley is a full time artist/illustrator living on a smallholding, in the American Midwest, with a man, seven chickens and a dog. She lives in a century old farmhouse restored by her cabinetmaker husband who is also the maker of frames for all of Bonnie’s work.
Being a dedicated Biophile, the flora and fauna surrounding the Lalley home is a constant source of wonder and inspiration for this Artist.
The artwork features large-scale Mixed media collages and will be displayed in the Rowley Gallery at Studio 23. The body of work is presented in exquisite hardwood frames hand-crafted by her husband and professional cabinet-maker, Timothy Lalley.
There will a reception for Bonnie Lalley on Friday, July 30, 2021, 5–7 pm at Studio 23. The reception is open to the public.
