Art is a key element in Chris Krupinski’s life. She has been drawing and painting all of her life, but once she discovered watercolors she has had a passion for the medium ever since.

Chris’s art career has achieved a tremendous following on the national and international level as a brilliant watercolorist. Well credentialed, her paintings continually draw rave reviews for her fine art work, winning more than 100 national awards and honors. Chris is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society and earned Dolphin Fellow in 2015. She is also a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, Watercolor Honor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society Master, and Allied Artists to name a few. She has been published in major watercolor publications and has been a featured artist in numerous leading national art magazines. Chris had a painting on the cover and a feature article in the October 2014 issue of The Artist’s Magazine. Her work has been in international exhibitions in China, Greece, Italy, and Turkey. Her watercolors are hung in several corporate collections and are cherished additions to the finest of private collections.

Chris’s watercolors are created with special consideration to detail. By focusing much of her attention to the smallest detail, the viewer is drawn into the intricacies of her work. Dynamic light and shadow treatments are prominent statements in her paintings. The play of lights and darks develop effective abstract design. Emphasizing these two elements has enabled her to create powerfully expressive still lifes and bold compositions.
