The Jones Memorial Scholarship for the Visual Arts
In 1994, in memory of Dr. Culver Jones and his wife, Beatrice, The Jones Memorial Scholarship for the Visual Arts was established. Dr. Jones was a gifted artist, himself, and he and his wife were dedicated and devoted to furthering the interest of the visual arts in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Their support, especially of Studio 23/The Arts Center, throughout the years, has contributed greatly to the growth and continued interest of the visual arts in our community. The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize, encourage, and assist students who wish to pursue a career in the visual arts.
