From his dreams of becoming a mortician at age twelve, to his high school job as a grave digger, Michael Murphy had a lifelong fascination with the macabre. His series of graveyard photography began in 2004 when he befriended the groundskeeper of a historic Philadelphia cemetery, and he spent the next 15 years actively seeking and photographing cemeteries everywhere he visited.Learn more here!

The 100 Day Project is a self-lead creative practice that allows you to work on your own projects, in the medium of your choice, with the themes and ideas that you would like to work with! The only stipulation is that you spend 5 to 10 minutes a day working on your project during the 100 days.Register your 100 Day project here!
