Disover Art at Studio 23 is an engaging visual arts program, designed to inspire creativity, foster artistic skills, and spark imagination through 5 distinct arts opportunites for K-12 students in the Bay-Arenac Intermediate School District.
❋ Free Saturday WorkshopsOur Free Saturday Workshops offer hands-on, creative art experiences tailored for various age groups, giving participants of all skill levels the chance to explore fun, new arts activities and express themselves.
❋ Field TripsDesigned specifically for 3rd and 4th grade students, our interactive field trips provide gallery tours with hands-on art making to foster creative thinking and enrich classroom learning.
❋ District DaysEach month, District Days warmly welcomes families from a featured school district for a studio tour and self guided DIY art activities, inviting you to freely explore our galleries and discover what Studio 23 has to offer.
❋ High School Arts Council❋ Summer Art CampsOur creative Summer Art Camps welcome young creators to dive into a week of projects, exploring new mediums, building artistic confidence, and making social connections in a fun, encouraging studio environment.
The High School Arts Council empowers teen leaders to collaborate, manage budgets, and execute an end of term workshop in May, giving members real-world leadership experience and a platform to shape their local art community.

Field Trips
Please call (989) 894-2323 to schedule a Field Trip with our Curator of Education. Field Trips are designed for 3rd and 4th Grade Students and include a tour and art activity.

District Days
District Days will celebrate the School Districts in the BAISD by highlighting a specific district once per month during the school year. On District Days Studio 23 will offer guided tours of Studio 23 for students and their families. Families will explore our galleries and classrooms. We will also have DIY Activites available in our Rowley Gallery for students and families to create together.
Participation is FREE.
No Need to Register, as District Days are an open invitation for students and families to visit and explore Studio 23 during District Days hours.

Summer Art Camps
Studio 23’s Summer Art Camps include 5 separate themed Art Camps with camps running Monday-Thursday 9:00 am -3:30 pm. Camps take place from late-June to early August annually.

High School Arts Council
The Discover Art High School Arts Council is a great way to build your college resume, and participate in the creation, planning, and execution of a community event. Council Members will design a FREE public workshop, develop the curriculum, organize volunteers, develop a budget, hire an instructor, market the workshop, and execute the delivery of the workshop.
Council Members will meet once per month from November 2026- April 2027. The workshop will take place in May with a pizza party afterwards for the council members and volunteers.
